Job Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating telecommunications generator projects on behalf of the company in the New York City market.

Responsibilities

What You Will Do

  • Organize, promote and implement project initiatives
  • Request for proposals, bid walks and bid proposals
  • Facilitate inter-departmental communication among functional teams
  • Tracking client expectations and meeting those expectations through maintaining deadlines
  • Internal and external project tracking with reporting and metrics
  • Work closely with team members to ensure proper methods, strategy and approach for timely completion of milestones.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of project forecasts, and budgets
  • Run reporting calls
  • Maintain flexibility and willingness to take on new challenges as job requirements change with the dynamics of any assigned project.

Qualifications

What You Will Need
  • 5+ years of telecommunications experience
  • Exeprience deploying generator projects in NYC market
  • Understands DOE, FDNY and other challenges with permitting in NYC market
  • Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook).
  • Capacity to balance and organize multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to think critically and make informed decisions in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
  • Excels in self-directed environment, but also works well within a team and reacts to constructive criticism positively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy. Able to work accurately and efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
  • This is a full-time exempt position.
  • Days of work are Monday through Friday. Some evenings required.
Travel
  • Travel in multiple markets for meeting and site visits will be required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable under the company insurance policy.
Expected compensation includes $100K-$125K as an annual salary and benefits including medical, vision, and dental benefits, and 401k retirement plan available for eligible employees. Compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as an individual's education, training, experience, skills, geographic location, seniority, merit, and other factors that are job related and consistent with business needs.
