About the Job:
1.Conducting research and development activities to design and develop new technologies and products.
2. Apply your deep understanding of theoretical thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat and mass transfer principles to develop new mathematical models, analytical solutions and to optimize the performance of technologies and products.
3. Using DFT/MD methods or any high-performance computing-based simulation to model and simulate the behavior of materials and systems.
3. Collaborating with other engineers, scientists, and technicians to develop and test prototypes and conduct experiments.
4. Participating in team meetings and presenting your findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
5. Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in your field and continuously improving your skills and knowledge.
About you:
- Masters in chemical or mechanical engineering
- Experience with DFT/MD/Monte Carlo methods or any high-performance computing-based simulation.
- Good understanding of the principles of thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer
- 2 years experience. Fresh graduates with applicable research /project experience will also be considered.
- Experience working as part of a larger team effort.
Preferred qualifications: - Ph.D./post-doc in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience working on machine learning/Gen AI applications and/or prompt engineering.
- 2 years of experience working in gas handling or cryogenic applications ( will consider Ph.D research in lab)
- Experience coordinating experiments or designing experiments.
- Relevant experience commercializing technologies or working on IP.
6. Documenting your work and maintaining accurate records of your experiments and results.
7. Ensuring that all work is conducted in compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
