Salary: $75,000 - $80,000

Key Responsibilities

• Expertise in sushi preparation techniques, maintaining strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Work closely to determine daily menus and specialty dishes, ensuring a seamless kitchen operation.
• Share proven techniques and recipes, encouraging a collaborative and inclusive kitchen culture.
• Monitor stock levels, order ingredients, and manage waste to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Ensure all workstations and equipment are cleaned and sanitized to comply with health regulations.
• Develop ambitious new sushi creations that compete with the best in the industry.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sushi Chef or Sous Chef in a high-end restaurant.
• Degree, certification, or equivalent experience in Culinary Arts preferred.
• Expertise in sushi preparation and presentation.
• Demonstrated experience in training and leading kitchen staff.
• Ability to successfully implement and maintain stringent food quality and consistency standards.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
