Software EngineerII
Software Engineer II for Honeywell International, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ

Responsibilities:
Work with experienced software engineers to conceptualize, design, engineer, and execute industry leading projects from start to finish.
Develop complete and concise system Description of Operation (DOO), test plans and user guides.
Interface with industry leading customers.
Integrate cutting edge bar code reading technology to track and sort cases.
Deliver successful material handling solutions to the customer by developing and implementing detailed commissioning plans.
Attend all project related turnover meetings, functional design reviews and team meetings.
Understand scope, budgets, and schedules for the project.
Maintains and tracks issues list, reporting to Supervisor / Manager as required.
Complete all in-house testing and emulation. Provide site/field reports daily, including progress, issues, and next steps, as requested.

Location: Phoenix, AZ
40 hours/week
Employee Referral Fee: $1500

YOU MUST HAVE:
Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in software development. Full term of experience must include: experience applying software development fundamentals; experience working with Java or another object oriented language; experience actively collaborating with engineers and peer teams; experience working to troubleshoot and solve problems independently as well as part of a team; experience multi-tasking and staying organized in a dynamic work environment; experience or knowledge of Agile development, interactive development, and continuous integration; experience working with .NET, JAVA, Concepts of Cloud services, SQL server or another SQL based database; and experience problem solving and debugging complex software. Telecommuting permitted up to two (2) times per week. Up to 10% domestic and international travel required.
