Entry Level - W2VHE Smart Board Installer (Long-term)

eBryIT is seeking an "entry-level" A/V Field Tech that is good at working with tools and may have some experience with carpentry-based installation projects to provide services in the Atlanta Metro area as well as has the availability to travel to projects around Rome, GA, Pike, KY and Knoxville, TN area.

Are you good at working with hand tools and have light experience in the construction/carpentry industry (installing drywall, cabinets, framing, ceiling fans, light fixtures, and mirrors)? Are you reliable/dependable and are willing to learn and be trained on how to install A/V equipment? If so, you would be a great fit for this particular opportunity!

When the A/V installations are slow, you have the option to work at our warehouse/configuration center in Kennesaw, GA (near the Cobb International Airport) to assist with computer configuration type of work.

Projects will also rely on strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail in order to communicate effectively between our clients and technicians. Workdays: Monday through Friday

Work hours: 8 am - 5 pm & 3 pm - 11 pm (Varies depending on customer)

Job Responsibilities:

• The use of basic tools such as Allen wrenches, screwdrivers, power drills, and ladders.
• Climbing up ladders and lifting devices for installation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. or more on a daily basis.
• De-installation services for existing classroom equipment.
• Installation services for ActivePanel boards and mobile stand-up (up to 86").
• Asset Tagging.
• Move equipment between buildings and floors.
• Offsite trash removal.
• Coordinating with the team for optimal productivity.
• Willing to travel to different schools in Rome, GA, Pike, KY & Knoxville, TN for A/V installations.
• It is essential for employees to have the ability to work independently with little guidance.
• During downtime, willing to work at our Configuration/warehouse facility in Kennesaw and assist with computer work. Training will be provided.
• Skill at managing own time and personnel resources.
• Must have your own reliable transportation.
• A valid driver's license and auto insurance is required on your vehicle.
• Good driving record over the last 3 years.
• Must be available to work 2 different work shifts: (8 am - 5 pm) & (3 pm - 11 pm).
• Must be able to clear a full criminal background check and 10-panel drug screening (excluding THC/marijuana).

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift.

Travel requirement:

• Up to 75% travel.
