Qualifications :
The Security Manager must possess an understanding of all security & surveillance  system s installed and their integration with home automation systems. Must pursue continuing education on all products. Basic wiring and connectivity skills as it pertains to low voltage standards. Trouble shooting skills are essential. Basic computer skills with the ability to become competent in-house job management software.  Minimum of three years experience installing, servicing, and activating perimeter access control and surveillance systems required. Previous experience supervising alarm installers also required. 

Summary of Position :
The Security Manager is responsible for security accounts for the location and performance and scheduling of the security technicians. They are also measured on both profitability and customer satisfaction. The ability to troubleshoot all aspects of security components is a must; and ideal candidates will be extremely patient.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Process incoming security service requests and determine urgency
• Manage on call and after hour schedule for security
• Coordinate with A/R to ascertain credit status of client accounts
• Determine billable and warranty status of security work orders appropriately and ensure revenue is captured appropriately.
• Delegate security tickets to the appropriate tech to ensure completion
• Design and recommend products to reduce customers pain poin ts

• Remote access customer security systems and repair network-based solutions
• Monitor customer's security systems to take proactive action on common issues
• Work with the Security techs and others to track and eliminate recurring issues
• Set up, pre-configure and program security networks, control systems, cameras, and NVRs
• Schedule and attend security handoffs to signify completion of 9rojects
• Accurately set completion deadlines and expectations for client
• Set up, configure, program, and troubleshoot security networks, control systems, cameras, and NVRs
• Review, react, & update daily work orders in job management s o ftware
• Accurate time clock entries and job costing
• Make decisions and be held accountable to Time and Materials
• Client training and customer service.
• On call rotation may be required
• Local travel to job sites required
• Provide training or communication to disseminate pertinent information as required
• Fiscal responsibility for all assets assigned and property within Security Managers care
• Customer service, including the ability to work with high profile an d high demand customers
• Guardianship and preservation of client confidentiality and network/home security
• Adherence to state and federal laws, including adherence to traffic laws
• Obtain and maintain security license through Dept of Public Safe y per state law
• Manage company license and maintain personnel records to me t minimum state requirements
• Ensure training and continuing education of all installers under Bravas state license per state requirements

Additional Requirements:

• Set up remote monitoring systems and enrolling customers in security plans
• Flexibility to meet customer demands outside of normal working hours
• Must be able to lift and carry 60lbs
• May require standing or stooping for extended periods
• Ability to work in tight spaces & at ladder height
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and clear criminal rec ord required
• Security license preferred
