We have a fantastic full time career opportunity in Chicago for a qualified Quality Control Inspector. You will perform dimensional inspection of critical, large machine parts for our nuclear business.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
-Candidate must have 3+ years previous inspection experience and familiarity with using large measuring tools.
-Must have excellent written, verbal and reading skills and have excellent computer skills.
-Previous machine shop experience a plus in a custom job shop.
-Dimensionally inspect large parts using large micrometers, gauges, calipers
-Calibration of measuring and test utilized for performing inspection and test activities.
-Develop detailed reports for incoming, in process and final inspection.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 3 years previous inspection experience and familiar with measuring tools.
Experience using micrometers, gauges, calipers.
Level 1 certification or higher
Ability to prioritize and take direction from all levels of management.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficient computer skills, familiar with MS Office suite.
Previous machine shop experience a plus
High School Diploma and a valid drivers license.
