Emma Marie's Groom & Daycare in Mattapoisett, MA and North Dartmouth, MA is looking for one animal caretaker to join our 35 person strong and GROWING team. Our ideal candidate is a team player who is attentive, ambitious, and reliable.

We at Emma Marie’s love dogs, no matter how big or small. We offer grooming, daycare, and overnight stay services as well as pet supplies for your best canine companion. All of our services use the newest technology to keep your pet clean, safe, and happy. Emma Marie’s offers a family atmosphere for all our customers!

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and make them feel at home with their pets
• Answer any questions the customers may have and provide suggestions as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for colleagues and patrons
• Provide a positive and safe environment
• Support the front desk with clients
• Supervise, engage and monitor dogs in a daycare setting to ensure their safety and well-being
• Clean and sanitize play areas, kennels, and equipment as needed.
• Administer medications or treatments to dogs as directed by the owner or veterinarian
• Maintain accurate records of each dog's behavior, feeding schedule, and any health concerns
• Communicate effectively with management and dog owners regarding their pet's behavior and any issues that arise

Qualifications

• Dog Care Experience Required: (examples: Veterinary technician, Veterinary Assistant, Kennel Tech, Dog daycare worker, dog trainer, etc.)
• Comfortable working with animals
• Highly adaptable to various situations and clientele needs
• Consistently supervise animals during various activities
• Possess a positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture
• Customer Service Experience is a PLUS!

Pay will be based upon experience and discussed at your interview
