Print Production Assistant  

Creole Cuisine Restaurant Concepts is seeking a meticulous and organized individual to join our team as a Print Production Assistant. In this part-time role, your keen attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring the flawless execution of print projects. Your expertise in coordinating print production processes and collaborating effectively with various teams will be essential in delivering high-quality printed materials to our concepts. 

Responsibilities

Pre-Press Preparation:   

• Review design files to ensure they meet specifications and requirements. 
• Prepare files for printing, including color correction, resolution adjustments, and layout adjustments as necessary.
• Editing pre-made templates in InDesign and Illustrator as needed with updated information or pricing. 

Production Execution:  

• Monitor print quality throughout the production process and make necessary adjustments to maintain consistency. 
• Handle paper selection, ink, and other materials required for the printing process. 

Quality Control:  

• Conduct thorough quality checks on printed materials to ensure they meet client specifications and company standards. 
• Identify and rectify any print defects, color variations, or inconsistencies before final delivery. 

Inventory Management:  

• Keep track of paper stock, ink supplies, and other production materials, and reorder as needed. 
• Maintain a neat and organized production area, optimizing efficiency and minimizing waste. 

Post-Production Tasks:  

• Perform finishing tasks, such as cutting, folding, binding, and packaging, to complete the printed materials. 
• Prepare finished products for shipping or delivery, ensuring they are well-protected and accurately labeled. 

Team Collaboration:  

• Work closely with designers, production managers, and other team members to ensure a seamless production workflow. 
• Communicate effectively to address any issues or challenges that may arise during the production process. 

Qualifications:  

• Prior experience in print production or a similar role is advantageous. 
• Proficiency in using print design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). 
• Knowledge of print production processes, color management, and file formats. 
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and correct print-related issues. 
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy materials, and operate printing equipment.
