ROLE SUMMARY
The Machine Operator will handle day-to-day equipment operations, and the ideal candidate is a multi-trade problem solver who is technologically advanced with prior machine operating experience. We are looking for experienced individuals who can work within our team to accomplish daily goals. We desire to have a passionate, well-rounded team with a strong work ethic to make Trulieve successful continuously.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Become proficient in the setup, adjustment, and operations of all equipment in the facilities.
Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems detected.
Work with others to ensure that equipment is in proper working order.
Responsible for running, maintaining, and cleaning the machinery.
Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations.
Ensuring the machine is properly cared for and the environment is held to food safety standards.
Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Must have previous experience as an equipment technician in an industrial environment or equivalent setting.
Possess a solid understanding of basic troubleshooting skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Comfortable with Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Aptitude for math, problem-solving, computers, and mechanics.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong time management skills, driving efficiency and productivity to ensure goals are met consistently and high-quality control.
ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent education is required.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License or ability to obtain one.
Must complete a comprehensive background screening.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks.
Must be able to handle organic matter daily, able to wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection), and able to be exposed to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE (95 degrees or greater).
Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as; reading, viewing a computer terminal, and visual inspection involving small parts/details - clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions.
Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise).
Salary will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise.
