Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

Operate CNC machines according to engineering specifications, drawings, and blueprints.
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to machine settings to ensure consistent product quality.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical or programming issues as needed.
Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and tool changes.
Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Work collaboratively with engineers and production staff to meet production schedules and quality targets.
Document machine performance, production data, and maintenance activities as required.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in CNC machining is a plus.
Previous experience operating CNC machines (e.g., CNC lathes, CNC mills, or similar).
Strong understanding of CNC programming, including G-code, M-code, and setup procedures preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical manuals.
Familiarity with precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges) preferred.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Good communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.

Preferred Qualifications :

Certification in CNC machining or manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC certification from an accredited program).
Experience with advanced CNC machines or programming software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks).
Previous experience in a high-volume production environment.
Program and modify CNC machine controls (e.g., G-code) to optimize performance and achieve desired part specifications.
Experience with inspecting finished products using measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, or gauges) to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
