Job Description

Job Summary: VP Management is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel General Manager for our property in Charleston, West Virginia. As the General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the hotel's operations and ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction. This is a full-time, individual contributor position with a competitive salary and benefits package. Compensation & Benefits: This is a full-time, salaried position with a competitive compensation package of $60,000 to $80,000 per year, paid biweekly. The package also includes possible bonus opportunities of an additional $15,000-$20,0000; and benefits such as a health benefit package, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth within the company. Responsibilities:

• Oversee all operations of the hotel including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage departments
• Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability
• Monitor and analyze financial performance and make adjustments as needed
• Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by responding to feedback and resolving any issues
• Hire, train, and manage hotel staff to maintain a professional and productive team
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, clients, and community organizations
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations
• Maintain and update hotel management systems and technology
• Attend meetings and conferences to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Hotel or Hospitality Management or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience in hotel management, including leadership roles
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel management software
• Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as needed
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
• Previous experience in Charleston, WV preferred but not required
