Job Description : River Forest family seeking an experienced Nanny for a Full-Time position. Start August 2024.
Schedule: Guaranteed 47 hours, Monday/Wednesday/Thursday, 7:00am to 6:00pm, Tuesday/Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm
Compensation : $1,175/week + vacation, holidays, sick days.
Job Details and Responsibilities:  

• The care will be for three children, ages 10, 8, and 6. All children are in full-time school.
• Responsibilities are for the day-to-day care of the children such as getting the children ready for school (prepping school lunches, preparing breakfast, etc.), assisting with homework, and afternoon snack/meal prep.
• Nanny will also pick up/drop off children from school, summer camps, activities and help with maintaining their schedule and tracking their school and activity calendars. Will also be able to plan playdates.
• Light housekeeping will be needed such as children’s laundry, children's dishes (emptying/loading dishwasher), tidying children’s bedrooms and common areas, helping maintain a clean and organized household.
• House management tasks will include laundry, dishwasher loading/unloading, cleaning up toys, grocery shopping, errands such as post office or cleaners, etc.

Qualifications:  

• Nanny should have extensive, verifiable nannying experience. Has worked with multiple children at a time.
• Nanny is looking for a long-term commitment with the family.
• Nanny should be warm and caring. Will be able to foster a positive relationship with the family.
• Nanny should be self-sufficient. Will be able to plan activities and keep track of children’s needs. Ability to take initiative, be proactive, and anticipate family's needs.
• Driving is required for the role. Nanny will need to provide their own vehicle. Candidate should have a safe driving record and be comfortable driving in the city.
