Planet Technology has partnered with a Cincinnati company to an ETL Developer for a full time position. Candidates are required to be onsite in our Cincinnati client offices at least three days a week.

This is a full-time position and we will not accept any inquiries from Third Party Vendors.

We are seeking a talented SQL ETL Developer to join our team and play a key role in building and maintaining our data warehouse infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to extract data from various sources, including SAP systems, transform it to meet business needs, and load it into our data warehouse.

Responsibilities:

• Work with business analysts and data architects to understand data requirements.
• Design and develop ETL processes using SQL scripting languages (e.g., T-SQL, PL/SQL).
• Utilize SAP-specific tools and technologies for data extraction (e.g., SAP Data Integrator, SAP BODS) (familiarity preferred).
• Perform data transformations to clean, validate, and format data for accurate analysis.
• Develop and maintain data quality checks and error handling routines.
• Optimize ETL processes for performance and efficiency.
• Document ETL processes for future reference and maintenance.
• Collaborate with database administrators and developers to ensure data integrity and system stability.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest ETL technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience as an ETL Developer or similar role.
• Strong experience writing complex SQL queries with joins, subqueries, and window functions.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts (dimensional modeling, data quality).
• Experience with data transformation techniques (cleansing, filtering, aggregation).
• Familiarity with ETL tools and methodologies (e.g., SSIS, Informatica PowerCenter) (a plus).
• Working knowledge of SAP systems (e.g., SAP ECC, SAP BW) (preferred).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
