Job Title: Domestic Couple/Groundskeeper

Location: Doylestown, PA

Job Type: Full-Time, Live-In

Duration: Very Long Term

About the Property: We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Domestic Couple, Butler, or Housekeeper to help manage and maintain a beautiful property in Doylestown, PA. The property features extensive gardens, a pool, tennis court, greenhouse, raised bed vegetable garden, and a hydroponic shipping container farm.

The owner often host larger events for charitable purposes, and most of the produce is donated to charity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the property, including gardens, structures, pool, and tennis court.
• Manage gardening staff and various contractors to ensure the property is well-maintained.
• Assist with seasonal tasks and adapt to the changing needs of the property.
• Engage in general property maintenance, including mowing, trimming, planting, and weeding.
• Potentially manage livestock or an aviary, depending on future property developments.
• Assist with event preparations and provide support during charitable events.
• Maintain communication with the property owner to ensure all needs and preferences are met.
• Ensure security and oversight of the property, particularly when the owner is away.
• Provide pet sitting and care as needed.
• Perform light household tasks such as sewing, cooking, and flower arranging when required.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge and passion for landscaping and gardening.
• Experience in property management and maintenance.
• Ability to manage and coordinate with gardening staff and contractors.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and tasks.
• Trustworthy, self-driven, and motivated with a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Additional skills such as cooking, sewing, and pet care are highly valued.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Living Arrangements:

• The domestic couple or individual hired will have the option to live in either the corner house with 2-3 bedrooms and two and a half baths, or the carriage house which has a full apartment.
• Privacy during off-hours will be respected, but flexibility is required in case of emergencies or special events.
