**Job Overview:**
Camp Bow Wow, a leading pet care franchise dedicated to Making Dogs Happy, is seeking a passionate and skilled Dog Trainer to join our team. As a Dog Trainer at Camp Bow Wow, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional training services to our canine clients, ensuring their well-being and happiness.
This is a part-time, commission-based position with the potential to be full-time based on the candidate’s motivation and capabilities.
**Duties:**
- Conduct individual and group training sessions for dogs of various breeds and ages.
- Develop personalized training plans based on each dog's needs and behavior.
- Monitor progress and adjust training methods as needed to achieve desired results.
- Educate pet parents on different training techniques and provide guidance for continued success at home.
- Collaborate with the Camp Bow Wow team to ensure a safe and enriching environment for all Campers.
- Assist with other pet care duties as needed, such as animal handling, pet sitting, and kennel maintenance.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in dog training or related field preferred.
- Certification in dog training or behavior modification is required.
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with care and confidence.
- Comfortable with heavy lifting and physical activity associated with dog care.
- Excellent communication skills with both dogs and pet parents.
- Passion for working with animals and making a positive impact on their lives.
