Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

  • Work with catalog & category managers to prioritize business and information needs, including identifying critical metrics and KPIs, and delivering actionable insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Acquire data from primary and secondary sources and maintain databases/data systems.
  • Assist in developing and/or modifying current data tools for optimization and standardization across NOV.
  • Utilize Excel, PowerBI and other software to analyze data
  • Interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets with the use of graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data.
  • Utilize the Oracle P2P tool to report activity and identify trends and cost saving opportunities.
  • Consolidate and analyze RFQ/RFP data.
  • Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings.
  • Evaluate the internal system for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, as well as developing and maintaining protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
  • Comply with all NOV policies and procedures.

Qualifications, Education, Experience & Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or Statistics or Supply Chain.
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to rapidly learn other analytical tools.
  • Proficient PowerBI skills.
  • Experience with SQL, R, Python a plus.
  • Self-motivated and results oriented with the ability to set and meet deadlines
  • Ability to problem solve and identify areas for improvement.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
