Overview
The Customer Service Rep is a professional sales and marketing position designed to improve our customer's experience by following up on leads generated by marketing in real time and have the ability to close the sale immediately. A key focus of this role is to make sure that our investments in marketing and lead generation are captured with tangible outcomes both in profit for the company and customer satisfaction/retention. The goal of this position is to re-establish, qualify, and maintain contact with small- to medium-sized customers to increase sales of equipment to retail customers.
Basic Duties
The Customer Service Rep is a position designed to educate and develop sales leaders at Seat Geek.
This position will follow up on leads generated by our marketing department immediately, qualify them, and transact a sale/rental if possible. The sold attachment or machine will be handed over to the territory rep for delivery and/or demonstration to close. Commissions will be split between Customer Service Rep and Machine Sales Rep for leads or closed sales.
Responsible for pricing machines and attachments and will serve as our main point of contact for distributing pricing for machines staged in front of our retail stores.
Follow up on Construction related marketing campaigns and targeted "blitzes" in a given territory.
This candidate will work closely with Sales and Marketing but focused as a Heavy Construction Customer Service Representative.

Enable Seat Geek to achieve its safety objectives by promoting a positive safety culture and adhering to all company safety policies, procedures and practices.

Strive to improve processes at every available opportunity.
Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, and able to write simple correspondence.

Previous sales experience preferred.
Must be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to management and other employees of the organization.
Ability to deliver Seat Geek's customer experience vision with an "Attitude of Service" for all internal and external customers on a consistent basis.
Candidates must also possess a high level of professionalism, adaptability and integrity.
Must be results-oriented, self-directed individual with strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word is a must.
Travel for related work assignments or training is required.
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Background in heavy equipment service preferred.
Associate's degree in business or related discipline strongly preferred.
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate).
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
This position will work in an office and outdoor environment. Travel is required roughly 50%. There may be times when you are required to go out into the service and warehouse area and will need to wear appropriate safety equipment (IE- Safety glasses or side shields). May, on a continuous basis, sit at desk for a long period of time; intermittently answer telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means. Must be able to walk, bend, lift up to 20lbs. Candidate must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed.
