About the role

We at CBRE are currently seeking a CAD Manager! The purpose of the is position is to provide CAD support. Responsible for CAD services for a Telecommunications client.

What you’ll do

  • Manage the workload and volume of work for reports. Act as driver to build, maintain & retrieve all drawings for engineering or facilities including building plans, civil plans, and/or schematics to team or less experienced staff.
  • Supports manufacturing sites and manages the process & utility drawings for GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) facilities and Site, Civil & U/G (underground) distribution drawings.
  • Meets with client and helps build strategy regarding the scope of work. Assist with meeting savings targets, manage cost saves/avoids and achieving required SLA (Service Level Agreements) and KPI (Key Performance Indicator) targets.
  • Responsible for coordination of drawing deliverables in accordance with project turnover procedures and reconciliation of masters with project as-builds.
  • Provides site administration of the client EDMS (Electronic Document Management System) supporting the master/project drawing life cycle and maintenance & revision control of GMP drawings.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

proven experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design or Facilities.

In-depth experience in manufacturing and/or operations at a life science, bio-pharma owner/operator site.

Experience leading CAD service programs.

Desired Skills:

Bachelor's Degree preferred with equivalent experience in related field of Engineering, Architecture or Facilities.

In-depth knowledge of one or more traditional building or facilities team such as Architecture, Mechanical or Civil as it relates to drawing and project management.

Expert skills in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.

Some CAD skills in BIM (Building Information Modeling) and/or GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools or other vertical application suites.

DMS (Document Management System) tools
