Due to the nature of the role, successful applicants must be actively engaging with clients to request data and ask questions regarding bookkeeping and classifying transactions. The successful candidate will need to be able to work well by themselves and to adhere to deadlines and to ask questions from the client or your supervisor with adequate timing to complete the project. Job requirements: Must have experience with accounting and bookkeeping with an accounting major. For the duties listed in the above section, a majority of the tasks require direct interaction with the client(s). As such it is expected that candidates will have effective communication skills to relay and request information as needed from the client. Self-starter and timely completion of all products with an emphasis on open lines of dialogue with clients and your direct supervisor. You may also be required to assist with other departments for clerical/admin duties as needed for Audit/Tax cases during busy seasons. Candidate Preferences: QuickBooks Desktop/Online experience 1 year- MANDATORY.
