Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work Onsite  with our client in Winnipeg, MB.   Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• Maintain/modify/repair aircraft and related components in accordance with company and Transport Canada Regulations;
• Prepare aircraft for maintenance, repair, and modification. 
• Aircraft Management includes assisting with tug and towing procedures, aircraft refuelling, and jacking up and down the aircraft. 
• Carry out and coordinate the troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of all aircraft and aircraft components, including heavy maintenance; 
• Co-ordinate parts and ensure sufficient tools and equipment are made available to accomplish the maintenance and inspection functions; 
• Other duties as assigned based on role specifications.

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 5 years experience in line maintenance or heavy maintenance operations
• Minimum of 5 years experience with Aircraft Maintenance License
• Minimum of 5 years experience with FAA Training

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Dash 8-100/200/300 and/or Dash 8-400
• ATR-42 or ATR-72
• The ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Troubleshooting skills
• Must possess strong interpersonal, decision-making, organization and communication skills
• Knowledge of Transport Canada Regulations is considered an asset
• Must be flexible to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and unforeseen situations.
• ICS course 
• Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed
• Type Course Certification is considered an asset.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, the international language of aviation.
